Streets/Highway

Exeter Township's Highway Department is managed by Larry Piersol, Executive Director of Public Works. The 17-man Highway Crew repair roads, install drainage facilities, collect leaves, mow all open space, rights-of-way and detention ponds through the Township. In addition, they plow snow, install signs, maintain parks, maintain the brush depository and pave roads. The Highway Crew also responds to emergencies such as downed trees and clogged storm sewers.


State Roads

PennDOT's Engineering District 5 is responsible for the state-maintained transportation network in our region. This includes 3,344 total road miles and 2,128 total bridges.
